I've always carried all my cameras with the neck strap across the chest. I'm happy with the OEM strap. It does all I need with the pen, can quickly go into the bag without taking up all the space, keeps the camera close. Yes, it does allow the camera to crash into the dog when I bend over but am usually aware of the potential for movement.

Finally saw the camera in that CS-Slim -- won't a sling such as that allow the camera to flop about even more so than the neck strap?

If i was going for a new strap, then I would go for the Industry Disgrace strap from Crumpler. Wicked cool name and it features "wicks away perspiration for evaporation into the sweatasphere through twin exhausts." Bingo!

I gotta check this one, it sounds like it should be marketed by Ducati or perhaps a moto-GP sponsor to Ducati.

A few minutes later...... I should replace the strap on my E-3 and this or the Convenient Disgrace looks promising.

Ra, If you are still searching about, have you looked at the systems from Cotton Carrier? Possibly a bit on the "too much" side of things, especially for Oly pens, but your camera will not swing about and the holster can have a lens bag instead. The company video shows folks bouncing on a trampoline, mountain biking, skiing and other extreame sports with the camera not budging.

There is a review of the carrier here on Steve's at:
