Though I have never understood the appeal of Harleys, I do appreciate their look. Everywhere you look there are fascinating glimpses of "machinery". Love that you captured the clockwork spring on the kick start.
Pays to have your camera with you...

nice shots ... I live in a big hog state, NH; no helmet law, straight pipes tolerated, and bike week in Laconia yearly. While I appreciate the beauty of these machines and the very nice job you did photographing them Fred, I can't help but hate the noise they make.
