Default Spring blooms with the Hexanon 50mm f1.8

And spring is sprung.

These two are Brenizer method multi-shot stitches taken using the E-PL2, Hexanon 50mm f1.8 @ f1.8.

I've always had trouble deciding how to photograph this beautiful crab apple in bloom as it's just one big mass of blooms right now. This method allows me to isolate a branch of flowers in a sea of bokeh, I find the resultant composition pleasing.

(that one has a seam showing unfortunately - 38 shots total used, original composite image is over 50mb, this is downsized)

(18 shots)

wish I could share the smell too, it is exquisite.

Nice job Ramce. What software did you use for the stitching?

Microsoft ICE (Image Composite Editor), it's free (windows XP and above only) and does the matching and stitching automatically for you.

Beautiful job, the colors and bokeh are so smooth.

The second is my favorite.
