Was going to shoot some film recently but was quite surprised that the E-6 labs I used to use had all closed up. When it was announced the last K-chrome lab was closing I tossed the last rolls I had kept in the freezer. And I'm not sure how the wife would react if I started hauling out my b/w darkroom equipment.

Black & white film wouldn't be too difficult to process, then just scan the negatives. Then I start thinking about all the issues with scanning film, including dealing with dust on the negatives, the scanner itself and needed software.....I think for the few rolls I will shoot, I'll just pick up some Ilford B&W film and let the lab take care of processing and scanning.
