Oh yeah. At least $1,200 is my guess, and wouldn't be surprised if it's more than that.

And the lens hood will be made exclusively from unobtainium and of course, not included with the lens

Dang, the suspected price & the expected hood snafu..... I was thinking toward a combo kit with the M1 & 12-40.

But, I will bet my 9-18 & 14-54 will play quite nice with the M1.

Maybe we'll be surprised, both on the price and hood. Can't believe it actually says "PRO" on the lens itself. If they don't include the hood with such a lens, we'll know for sure they never will.

Well, of course it says "Pro" on the lens, have to justify the anticipated cost...

My E-3 neck strap says Pro on it and the strap was FREE (lol),

The lens hood that came with my 14-54 f2.8 is made of zirconium but it came with the lens.
