Default ....'twas an E-3 / 9-18 & 14-54 weekend

The past weekend I did the event photography for the South Street Arts Festival (Arlington, TS USA).

It is always fun to see old friends and to photograph their art, even in the rain which we had 'on & off' showers Saturday so I chose to use the E-3 / 9-18 & 14-54.

Because I nearly always use my E-P3 camera the weight of the E-3/grip took some doing to handle for 2-days .......I can't wait 'til I get the E-M1.

9-18 .......

Thanks Fred

James she is the artist of the glass work you see in that and the next photo, she is a friend and lives here in Arlington

Greg, the weather overall was better than was March, it did rain off and on most of the afternoon Saturday. South Street was/is a new fall event and was quite a success, many of the artists were also at the March show.

Bob - nice shots - I know how easy that 14-54mm is to just leave on and shoot with. I am sure it will be even better when that em-1 gets in your hands!

RA, the 14-54 is an easy call and it was raining here for the weekend, sometimes a quick shower so it was an E-3/14-54 weekend once I did a walk-through with the 9-18.

I really don't use the 14-54 much it seems but when I do I'm reminded of why I bought it 7-yrs ago and never got excited to get a 12-60.

I think the 14-54 will be a fun lens on the M1, much like on the E-3. I do use it occasionally with the E-P3.
