BTW, I received the new hood for the 12-50, the LH-55C, today. It's a petal-style hood. It extends MUCH further out for better protection of the front element than the original hood they sold for the lens, which was the same hood for the 9-18 M. Zuiko. This hood should have been made for the 12-50 from the beginning.

Nice! I will say some photos taken with the original hood have produced some flare that I actually like, but I'm sure I'll order this soon!
