Love 'em! Nice job exposing for the snow. And Sandy seems to be having a blast.

I remember snow like this when growing up in Michigan. I do miss the beauty (tracks in the snow etc.) but don't miss having to shovel my car out at 6:00AM so I could get to work on time. :-)

Brrrrrr. It is great weather to LOOK at and living with it up there is definitely better than dealing with it here, where we don't do so well at all.

I like the first shot of your dog the best, though I keep coming back to the street shot.

Nice street scene -- looks like you got a bit of warmer temperatures after the snow. Lucky!
Sandy looks as happy in the snow as on the beach, such a happy pup

What noise software did you use to process the crop?

thanks all. Kula I took these shots Sunday the 19th and it was relatively warm, right around freezing, not too bad at all for a sunny walk with the pooch.

The noise software I used was Noiseware by imagenomic, they have a community version which is free although it leaves your photos in smaller resolution.

I'm surprised with how everyone likes the street scene, I was invited to be part of the yahoo weather project on flickr which puts my pictures in their weather app for people to see which I thought was kind of neat. I took this shot for that reason mainly but I've been trying to find a good way to capture the day after a storm beauty when the snow is still coating the trees... everyone's praise gives me reason to keep trying, thank you!

I was really happy to capture Sandy in mid frolic even if I had the wrong lens for it (the 14mm), she's a fun dog, always happy to see you and ready to be patted like a good dog my wife kinda dislikes some of the things she does (like licking the kitchen floor) but I'll tell you there's nothing like having a dog
