Default Chilly Morning

After dropping my wife off at the train, took a drive down by the lake as you could see high banks of cloud forming over the water. Only about -10F so the water was "boiling". Hurried home for the camera and drovve back to the shore and managed to capture these views before the sun was too high.
All shot with my vintage E-PL1 and the M.Zuiko 40-150, processed with ASP.
The battery died about the time my fingers froze...












You can see the ice trying to take hold, but the lake's waves keeps the surface from freezing over.

Lovely images. I particularly like the composition of #2 and #3. Looks like you have a good handle on ASP too.

I am amazed how Ducks can handle the VERY cold
Calgary is expecting a COLD snap next week

I couldn't agree more, image 2 is really cool... I might crop a little off the bottom and boost contrast a tad but cool as is.
