Default valentine's end

some roses indoors in fading natural light, e-pl2 with 14-54mm mk II, LR plus noiseaware, handheld .... I found shooting in auto mode was too slow shutter speed for handheld so I went to shutter priority and shot at a faster shutter with ISO capped at 1250, end result was the images were dark and showed noise in the shadows, I then ran them through noise aware and I kinda like the end result so hope you do to, a bit dramatic but as suits the title, roses a week and a day from valentine's day holiday looking a bit worked over

Nice shots ramcewan, I like the second one because the DOF and the light is more blue than the other ones.

Ditto for me also. Did you buy those for your wife for Valentines so you could take pictures of them?

I bought those for my wife, shooting them was an afterthought ... one of the orchids is in bloom again and I was going to shoot that but then I saw these

Thanks Marcelo - I also like the second one, I think it is probably the best all around.

Macbook thanks for checking them out and your comments! I hope you all had a good day.

I guess I'm different in that I like the first, darker one the best. Ha.

On #3 it looks like some of the red petals might have gotten blown out a little. I don't know if you can (or should) back that down in RAW a bit or not. I'm being nitpicky though.
