I am happy to see these Tom, it has been quite a long while since we've seen your great motorsports photography. Chain-link fences present some difficulties but you've again handled them well here.

Thanks for posting, I am looking forward to more from you...... Bob

Very cool. In general, how fast were the cars going on that turn? Were you using shutter priority and what's a typical shutter speed for the above images?

Wow, fantastic shots, those are very sharp.

The exif data shows 1/640, did you use tripod or hand held?

Thank you for posting.

Thanks, Pictures 1 & 3 the cars are doing 226Kph, Picture 2,4,5 & 7 92Kph & in Picture 6 186Kph.

Have added basic EXIF information under pictures and was shooting in AV shooting wide open for shallow DOF to help minimise mesh fence while using ISO to control shutter speed.

Excellent, really enjoyable to be able to see these shots of the cars in action.

Great shots, the details in the cars is amazing. You have crisp shots here, the 75-300 shows itself very capable on the M1. Love the McLaren shot with the right front looking a little unweighted. One can almost hear the scream of these cars in these shots. Yes, I love F1...
