Default I think that I've found Greg Chappell's next lens

I came across this lens at B&H recently. We all know how Greg likes to add to his lens collection and this one looks like a great m4/3 lens for him to buy. (Who knows, maybe he will buy two of them.)

Yeah, I've seen that one, and the other two

Definitely no Sony knock-offs. That's when you realize you've got a real Zeiss lens in your hands.....when it costs $23,000 for the honor.

Think I'm sticking to my guns and waiting for the 40-150mm f2.8 M. Zuiko.

It's difficult for me to even imagine some one buying that for that price.

Are there any sample images available from someone up to the challenge of putting this thing to good use? How much gain in IQ does one get for that much money?

I think those are primarily designed with video in mind. I would imagine professional video/movie makers are going to be the main market. We'll probably see the results without ever knowing one day on TV or the big screen.

I agree Greg ......tack it to the front of a RED box with all the additional RED hardware requirements and you have a $150,000 4K UHD video machine.

I saw some nice pasture shots from the Ennis area, the bluebonnets are happening.

I shot my first of the year yesterday, not many plants but couldn't pass the opportunity, lots of plants, it will get better
