Default Ice and Summer Rubber

Had to post a pic of the cube with the new summer rubber -- v-speed rated for 240km/H. This is for you James, I know how much you love cubes

And one of my favourite lakes on the way to Ottawa, still frozen away from the shore's edge.

Nice shots, hard to believe that there is still that much ice anywhere when we are less than 2 months until summertime!!

(V-rated tires on a Cube? Now that is optimistic!!!)

That is one square car . Seems like it would go against my pedestrian knowledge of aerodynamic efficiency.

LOL. Aerodynamic effeciency is only a major factor at higher speeds, Greg. I doubt that KulaCube has to worry too much about that.

It's so ugly you almost have to like it. I'm sure it is very efficient on fuel so that beast would appeal to many people.

I love the CUBE ..... a neighbor has the same color. I like the SMART too.

The ice reminds me of my NW Ontario experience, the ice won't be gone by opening day of fishing season; mid-May.

James, do I detect you warming up to the cube?

Greg, Steven on aerodynamic efficiency and the cube, quoting from Blazing Saddles, "Aerodynamics? We don't need no stinkin' aerodynamics!" (with apologies to Mel Brookes)

As for the V-rated rubber -- it is not for the speed but for the stick these tires afford. When one tramps the pedal on this powerhouse, one wants all that torque propelling the car forwards rather than just spinnin' and smokin' the tires.

Steven and Bob, the ice will be as you say there till mid May. We are about one month behind this year. And this lake isn't even in the north that Bob knows.
