.....very colorful for sure, BUTTTTT!

I've a question prefaced by this (I grew up in the farming community of Shenandoah, IA USA which was then the nursery capital of the country, specifically 60-years ago it was FLOWERS, acres upon acres of FLOWERS, all kinds. Then when I lived for 14-yrs in SoCal Orange county, specifically in Huntington Beach, CA USA .... well it was truck farming with acres upon acres of STRAWBERRIES).

Does that field of Iris' STINK? Those FLOWERS and STRAWBERRIES of my past life STUNK pretty much as bad as skunk musk .... very awfull!

Actually no. There really wasn't much scent in the air (good or bad) which in hindsight seems a bit odd. They're all pretty fresh right now. In fact many have not bloomed yet. Thinking about going back next weekend. Supposed to have temps into the eighties during the week so that should bring out many of the stragglers.

We do have huge onion farms along the freeway between Salem and Portland. There are certain times of year when driving by you have to hold our breath for miles.

Gee nice shots and tons of flowers (Iris). I actually like the shot with those colorful chairs the best.
