Default Birds by the Pond

Trying to make use of my Lumix 100-300. These were taken by a little pond about 10 minutes from my place. The perched Osprey was about 100 yds out and the resulting photo is a 100% crop. All sharpened in post.

Thanks Fred. I've been a little disappointed with the 100-300 but I'm discovering the problem was more the fault of the operator. These were taken on a tripod and using a tablet and wifi as a shutter release. At 300mm it pretty much has to be hands off.

I need to get back to the WiFi setup.... it has been a while since I've used it. I've made a 'contraption' holder for my iPhone using a phone-holder attached to my tripod which makes camera positioning quite easy. I've not used my iPAD in the field; it is too unwieldy to even try using.

As Greg has mentioned, it would be a lot easier to use if Olympus cameras kept the LCD display (his Panasonic does) instead of the 'dumb-down' WiFi indicator.
