Default ...E-M1 & ZD 70-300 (no EX-25)

...today it was just the ZD70-300 on the M1

I have become a bit rutted with the EX-25 on the 70-300 because it works so well but there are times when the 'bare' 70-300 is more desirable yet it still works very well at shooting up close at around 40-inches focus distance and + the M1 digi-TC @ X2 the lens focal does nice results.

Great combination for nature hiking.

I've been photographing this tree-snag for years, I call it (him) 'Shy' for how it seems to shy away from the camera regardless of angle. Today I saw Shy apparently 'sniffing' the flora.

I agree with Fred. Excellent job Bob. And I still continue to be jealous of your dragonfly photos. I just don't have any luck with them, they refuse to pose for me. LOL

Great picture of Shy! And the dragonflies, of course.

........thanks Alan

The old tree snag can be fun to photograph; as I walked by it I saw the 'pose' but not the 'smelling of the twig' until I edited the file.

It is what I like about photography the most........ the unexpected.
