Default Cheap ND Filter

A couple months ago I bought a cheap 62mm ND filter along with a cheap CPL for the M. Zuiko 12-40. As mentioned earlier the CPL is now a coaster. Not the least of it's problems was the manufacturer used sewing machine oil so it would turn smoothly but of course, the oil ended up on my lens.

I don't feel so bad about the cheap ND Filter. It may or may not be actually performing at its rated 1000 but at least my camera would focus when it was attached.

Here's the link and a couple photos (the first two) of the fountain at Portland's Peninsula Park using the ND filter.

The last three are without the filter.

....I may need to learn about using a ND filter.

I like what you've done here.

Thanks Bob. There are times when smoothing out the water's surface or blurring a waterfall is an improvement. Now I just have to find a lake with a dock.
