Default Last Couple of Weekends in Dallas

I arrived home from Wyoming with the colors in full bloom, and it's actually been raining to help things even more.

The light is perfect and the post processing matches. Love the rose with the droplets. Lovely color and looks almost like satin.
And the garden shot, third from the bottom. Couldn't have pulled more detail from it.

........the weather has been super great the past 3-weeks and I've not been able to get out much at all.

NOW! we have summer and 90+ F every day; I've now some time to take the camera out, BUT WHERE? It is gonna be HOT from now 'til Christmas.

Some time the next few Saturdays I'm going to make my way back to Clark Gardens. Their Water Lillies should be getting close to peak, and their roses have typically been really good this time of year.

Edit: Well, I guess I won't after seeing they are adapting to the severe drought in that area and will not be open after next Saturday July 5, through August 28, with the exception of events or "by appointment- only" visits.

Wow, outstanding shots, hard to pick a favorite here.

Love the sharpness, color and DOF.
