The Empire State Building was lit last friday with the Gay Pride colors.

That's a beautiful building, and the special lighting is equally well done. It's one of the coolest buildings I've ever seen. An icon.

Love them all but particularly like the last one due to the gradient in the sky as a result of the setting sun.

The ESB has always been my favorite building. Back in the sixties I was in NY for a weekend and took a series of elevators up to the observation deck. The day was clear and you could see a long way out. I looked for King Kong's fingerprints but they must have cleaned those up pretty good. :-)

The EEB it is one of my favorite buildings also and the most photographed in the world.
