Default Garden Pond

Went to the Oregon Garden for a few hours yesterday. Lots of nice foto-fodder but decided to put some time on my underused Lumix 45-200 at the water's edge.

I thought you might like those. Especially the dragonfly.

Thanks!

Very nice shots, what kind of snake is that one?

The dragonfly and the frog are my favorites.

Thanks Marcelo. It's a Garter snake. Harmless and fairly common around here. The colors can vary some. Back in Michigan I remember them as mostly black and yellow. Didn't see orange in them till I made it out west.

Thanks for the comments guys. Haven't used the 45-200 much but this was the right purpose for it.
