Beautiful shots Fred. Bright and sharp as usual. Looks like a fun place to photograph.

I do believe the one on the bottom is a Black-necked Stilt. You can see one compared to an Avocet at the bottom of this page: http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/b...ecked_stilt/id

I don't know a lot about birds but I'm a curious sort and that one looked different from your previous Avocet seen here: http://forums.steves-digicams.com/ol...an-avocet.html

Yep, nice shots. Well done, and I really like the reflection in shot #2.

And chiPersei is right; you managed to get a Stilt in the second shot. They are very common down here.
