Default Swansons Hawk

One from this morning
EPL-5 and 75-300 300 mm and 2X crop
I was using a tripod and tried something a little different with the overcast skies
A Priority shutter 250 f 6.7 iso 250
at 300mm and 2X crop I usually shoot shutter priority 500
even with a tripod

It needed some white balance work

Very nice indeed. What focus mode did you use?

For this kind of shot with all that magnification do you use the center focus point, a subset, or all of them?

Yes, I use the Center Focus Point
I shoot at the center of the bird.
This way the bird is in Focus ( Hopefully )
Then I crop a little for composition
