Default Spotting an OMD in the Fashion World

Doing the normal scanning on Yahoo last night, I ran across an article, tiny on the screen, but the girl was handling something familiar-looking enough I had to click on it and look..

Yes it is a OMD-E5 and looks like she is using the 14-42mm kit lens.

I had the opportunity to shoot last September some shows of the New York Fashion Week and I noticed that at the backstage of the show there is a lot of bloggers and media people shooting 60% of them with iPhone's and point and shoot cameras, 20% with cropped dslr's and 20% with professional cameras, but the ones shooting the show on stage use 100% high end gear.

You can check some of my pictures in my gallery using the Nikon D600 and Canon 5Dmk III.

I was thinking it looks more like an E-M10. Neat shots Marcelo. I've never seen those pages. Thanks for linking them. Some of those models definitely have the zombie face look down.

Yeah I think that is an E-M10. Which means I have something in common with supermodels.

Hi Marcelo,

I know this is a little off topic, but I've a question regarding Zenfolio;
A number of people on Steve's use smugmug to host their photos.
(me included).

Can you tell me why you use Zenfolio. What do you like about it and what don't you like - if anything about it.

Thanks,

Zig

Hello Zig,

Nice to see you back from this neighborhoods.

I think Zenfolio and Smugmug are two platforms very similar and offer almost the same kind of service.

What I like most about Zenfolio is the client service, if you need info how to customize your gallery and any kind of questions is a great group of experts that give you advice and take you step by step to find solution to your need.

The menus are very intuitive and I like how it shows my work.

I hope this answer your questions.

Marcelo

You are right , it is a E-M10, thank you for the feedback Greg and I agree with you about the zombie face look of the models, this year some of the designers were criticized because this year they choose very skiny models. I saw one of them very ill and she was falling sleep while the make up artist was doing her make up .
