Congratulations Bob for the 4 pages publication and also for your fast recovery.

It is great when some body give a recognition of your work but 4 pages is more than that..!!!

Shoot, Texas is just too big. I'll be going to Houston/San Antonio/Austin and Dallas/Plano on this trip though, so if there are any must see areas, let me know.

I'll be in Houston and Austin for only one day unfortunately.

While in Plano, you could always make the 15 minute drive up to McKinney to see the Heard Wildlife Sanctuary. There are some neat hiking paths, including a wetlands area if you want to spot a few snakes to shoot.

Oh man, I don't know. I am big on the outdoors, but mostly on the East Coast or dry places like in California. I've heard rattlers, but don't do snakes.

I so appreciate the well wishes from y'all. Yes, Bonnie & I are getting back to our 'near' normal selves. We've both been for Dr visits, me to the neurologist yesterday. I'll have an angiogram in 6-mos and will need to see the cardiologist for probably a heart atrial fibrillation monitor. It is likely AFib caused my stroke, they say.

The magazine photo pictorial has been quite exciting to me; it has been very rewarding to hear and read what has been said.

Yesterday after the Dr appointments I took the E-M1/FT 9-18 out for a few frames of the late afternoon glow.... 'at the pond' I never tire of seeing it. It was/is super COLD for DFW (mid 20 F - low 40 F). Yesterday; 35F for these shots.
