Default beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Thanksgiving has gone and it is time for the Christmas tree to go up. Decided to test the pseudo focus peaking on the e-pm2 with my Konica hexanon 50mm f 1.8.

I set up this little fella on the table with the Xmas tree in the background, stopped down to 2.8. I added a vignette effect in post processing.

Awesome. Thought it might be the 45 mm before reading the text.

Thanks drew! It has been rumored that Konica makes the 45mm f1.8 for olympus. I would not be surprised as the character is very similar.

Really nice photo, and I like the composition with the golden globes shimmering behind the main subject.

Nice detail in the whites and I like the way the gold globes frame your subject.

Thanks Steven! the globes are actually the lights on the christmas tree through the bokeh of the lens.

Thank you John! I ended up sliding the highlight slider all the way left as well as turning the white level down almost all the way to bring out the texture, I'm glad it worked.

Thanks Bob it was a fun photo to do with the weather outside being pretty dreadful. I'm also really happy with the E-PM2's capability as this was shot at ISO 1600, I did apply a bit more than usual NR but nothing terribly bad.
