I've got a fair amount of lenses now and more than cover the range. But it's hard to decide what to carry. Once the 7-14 comes out I can fit the 3 Pro lenses in the bag + a couple favorite pancake primes and be ready for anything. That's the thinking anyway.
Monday, by 8pm. When are you supposed to get yours?

Same time. I'm so excited. I even read up on how to take sharp photos with a telephoto lens. It does introduce some additional challenges. An old rule of thumb for sharp images using a telephoto is a shutter speed of 1 / Effective Focal Length. But as usual there's more to it than that, not the least of which is IS and tripods etc. For folks considering this lens or using any other telephoto lens here's a quick read from the Lens Rentals people that helps explain what's involved and how to improve your chances for sharp telephoto images.

If mine doesn't show up by 5pm, it may be the next day since it's coming to the office
