Default ...while waiting for Greg to get the 40-150 f/2.8

....me too but since I am 4th on the list vs Greg at 1st, it probably will be a while 'til I get 'THE' call from Arlington Camera.

So,,,, I made the last fall pilgrimage to our Crystal Canyon Natural Area looking for leaves of any color that had not blown away.

Greg, this is where we were Dec 12, 2013, the day of COLD!!! CCNA ain't Turtle Creek Dallas but it was the best we had in Arlington last week for color.

These I made with the E-M1 & FT 9-18 .

Nice set and color, I am partial to number 8 with the sun streaming in. Looks much nicer than what I have here!

Lots of nice color that you captured Bob. I think my favorite is #6.

Hey, those are some pretty intense colors! Impressive. That's a great spot. I remember that day last December. Bone-chilling for sure.

I was over there (well, close) yesterday. Went with a Baylor friend to the Baylor-Tech game at Jerry World. My daughter graduated from Tech so I dressed the best neutral-part I could and just enjoyed the free seat and great parking spot, but it meant the weekend was a loss from a photographic standpoint.

That 9-18 Four-Thirds Zuiko is darn good, corner to corner. The Micro model is tiny, but the one you have is better.

Some really nice colours there Bob, 6 & 8 I really like but I also like the light and shadows on the bench in no 5.

I echo everything said. Colorful and sharp. I wouldn't change a thing except (and purists may disagree) I'd consider removing the contrail in #2. A beautiful set.

The wait is almost over Bob, and you're about to move up one spot in line. Patience finally ran out when I saw there were 15 units in-stock at Amazon as of Thursday night. Just purchased it. They now have one less. How so many places can amass stock like they do, as well as Olympus themselves fill so many pre-orders in their own online store, while one of the few authorized independent dealers in the country can get no units is just amazing to me. Not like I saved anything buying on Amazon as they ding Texas customers for sales tax too.
