Default Staying dry

Went to the Houston Zoo the day after Christmas. It was a nice day, but there was a light mist off and on. I guess the keepers left some blankets out. This guy took advantage.

I agree. I got a chuckle out of that shot. It reminds me of once when I saw one wearing a bushel basket on his head at our local zoo.

Thanks Steven. I really like zoos, there is always so much to see. Unfortunately I don't always have my camera, or I miss the shot.

Is the cold snap going to make it all the way down to Houston? 53 degrees today here in Dallas, it's supposed to be in the mid-30's for highs the rest of the week and down into the mid-teens for lows. If so, they better keep handing those out. Those guys probably make better use of them than many humans would.

Don't know if it got that cold in Houston, but it's freaking cold here in Austin today. I don't think it has broke 30 yet. Of course I was out walking the neighborhood trails on Sunday, and met a guy who was walking his dogs. I mentioned that it was supposed to get colder later in the week and he said, "I'm from Minnesota. It was -12 there this morning" I can do without that.

Thanks Marcelo! Yeah, the expression really sells it for me too.
