Default The KC-10 Comes to Visit

With my daughter inside, of course

With the E-M1 and 40-150mm f2.8..

With the 7-14mm f4..

Then back to the 40-150 for the takeoff..

...gosh that is a big airplane.

The plane and sky color being pretty much the same and still the sharpness is outstanding. We gotta get a weather break soon.

This has been quite a stretch of weather for us. Not sure I could take 5-6 months of it a year.

Definitely a massive aircraft. The images are very well captured, especially considering the lack of contrast between the overcast skies and the gray aircraft body.

Nice shots Greg, I especially like the cockpit shot, what an office to work in!

I thank your daughter for her service and hope she is safe in her duty. Must be a neat thing to see all the planes they refuel.

There is an airman named Jamie Morton who is a boom operator on a kc-10 extender that has gotten well known for his photography here is a link to an article with some of his shots from the boom seat, amazing stuff.

I like the shots with the light aircraft's in, it helps show how big the KC-10 is.
