Default Quick warmup over the weekend.

It hit 50 on Saturday, thawing us out for a bit. I took a trip down to a little lake nearby, which has been frozen over for a month or two.

I was expecting to take more shots of the lake, ice fishers and kids playing hockey, but I got caught up down by the dam and its spillway, and the creek that flows out of the lake.

Some high speed, spray-and-pray shots of water coming down the spillway:

Very nice close up shots, how do you know the ice is enough strong to walk over it?

Thanks everyone! I have a million of those water shots, as I had the camera on super-fast burst mode at 1/4000, so I had to get home before I saw what I had and pick ones I liked.

How do I know? Because I see other people out there, haha.

I have no idea how they know though.
