Default ...took the 40-150 PRO out for a walk

It felt really good to be out for an hour today. Since my stroke I've been out with the camera just three times; 3-months, 3 photo walks .... that won't cut it so when the fine weather like today happens; I've gotta do more.

While there just isn't much to select from yet I can tell the 40-150 f/2.8 will be great joy for the MACRO critters this coming spring and summer. In the mean time it is shoot what is there. Today with the MC-14, maybe next time out I'll try the extension tube stack.

E-M1 + 40-150 PRO + MC14 @ 210mm f/5.6 1/500sec

E-M1 + 40-150 PRO + MC14 @ 130mm f/4 1/750sec

E-M1 + 40-150 PRO + MC14 @ 56mm f/8 1/1000sec

E-M1 + 40-150 PRO + MC14 @ 115mm f/4.5 1/2000sec

E-M1 + 40-150 PRO + MC14 @ 56mm f/6.7 1/750sec

E-M1 + 40-150 PRO + MC14 @ 70mm f/11 1/500sec

E-M1 + 40-150 PRO + MC14 @ 210mm f/4.5 1/750sec

Just imagine the magnification with the tubes. I've not tried one of the tubes with the 40-150 yet because the lens focuses so darn close on its own. These are excellent. The textures in the wood in that next to the last shot are really detailed.

Super detail in those excellent shots. It's good to see you posting again, Bob; no matter the subject.
