Default .....getting along with the 40-150 f/2.8

I have used it with the ext tubes (mostly the 16mm) and with the MC-14 which seems to be unnoticeable regarding image quality.

Today however, it was just the lens .. no addons. I have added a UV filter to the lens because the front element just begs to be abused given the hood is not in place. I do always use the hood but feel more at ease with the UV filter.

A couple files from today ... E-M1, 40-150 f/2.8

Gilles, the lens is really good; with the MC-14 it mimics the 50-200 well @ f/4. With the difference in AF speed of the 40-150 vs the 50-200 it becomes an easy choice to carry the new lens.

Thanks for your comment.........

Bob: it is good to see you posting again. Those are really nice shots. I especially like the shots of the Yellow crowned Nigh Heron.

Nice set, glad you are settling into to comfort with that new lens. As the others have said the Heron shots are rather nice with excellent detail on the eye. I also like the compositions on the pathways they're a nice invite for a walk.

Green, green, green. Seems like it all happened overnight it was all dead not that long ago. Beautiful stuff Bob. I need to get my E-M1 out and do some shooting. Been kinda caught up in the rangefinder world recently. When do the Friday night auto shows commence?

Green! Seems rain makes a difference eh? The car show 'Nostalgia Nights' is every Fri night depending on weather ... 6-10pm. I've been only a couple times since the weather and time changes.
