My wife would kill me if I stuffed the pockets of my vest with brutes like the "pro" lenses!

The Olympus site says the lens will start shipping this week. We'll see...

LOL....

One bit of a disappointment, I noticed a couple of water spots on my E-M1 sensor last night after seeing some circular shadows in a few images. Guess I was not careful enough changing my lenses at least one time during the past couple of days. Off to Olympus later this week for a cleaning and might as well have them give the whole camera a one-over.

Good thing the E-M5 is around, just in case the E-M1 does not make it back in time for my trip to see my daughter later in June.

oh boy I got a snowflake on my E-M1 sensor this past year and know what those water spots can do... I found I was able to clean it off myself with Eclipse pre-moistened sensor swabs (for Type 2 Sensors) but to each his own, had I a local camera store that would do it for me I might have left it to the pros.

Yeah, I took the E-M5 back to Arlington Camera shortly after I bought it. It had something on the sensor when close to new and since AC advertized sensor cleaning I took it back to them, but they do not clean Olympus sensors due to the way it floats with the IS system, so they sent it to Olympus for me. Turned out that was something between the sensor and filter that sits in front of the sensor, so they had to replace the entire sensor unit under warranty.

Working on two sensor cleanings now. This.... And an M9....Leica....

Olympus just debited my card, so the 7-14 must be about to ship, if not today. COOL, I may have it in time for my trip that starts June 22.

Plus, UPS is scheduled to deliver the E-M1 back tomorrow from Olympus. Everything seems to be working out, knock on wood....
