Default BMW i8 ... now this is a hybrid I want!

Was down in South Beach Miami a few weeks back and it was rainy and day time so didn't get much shooting in... however as my daughter her friend and my wife were milling around the stores of Ocean drive I did happen to catch a few shots of the very cool BMW i8 hybrid sports car, putting out something around 350hp, it's no prius. Taken with the E-M1 and the 14-54, which was convenient as it was raining.

due to the gloomy weather I post processed these a bit differently than usual, stripping out all the color except the red and blue.

Wow, nice car, and I do like the way you played with the colors.

Wow, nice shots of an unusual automobile.

I was recently reading an article about it in Car and Driver Magazine. You can buy one yourself for only about $140,000.
(But because it also has a relatively large gas motor in addition to the electric, you'll only get about 30 miles per gallon. So the payback time is kinda long. LOL)

I really like the black and white set. For me, the background of the HDR color photos seems a bit too yellow, which takes away from the car. Either way though, I really like how tight you are to the car, which makes it look really imposing.
