The more I use my E-M5, the more I'm thinking I may just pick up one of those close-out E-M5's as an extra body, maybe even one of those nicer-looking "Elite" bodies B&H still has. After having been processing E-M1 files for so long, These E-M5 files look to do better when it comes to raising shadow levels, which I do a lot in exposing for highlights.

Improved software since I was last using the E-M5 extensively 18 months ago I am certain is part of the difference, and there are some missing features (like the higher 1/8000 shutter speed) that work against the E-M5, but the raw files do still work extremely well in Adobe Camera raw using the E-M5 profiles Adobe provides as a starting point.

Greg, I did get the Elite version of the E-M5. I do like it a lot. I can really tell the difference with the other version. It looks the same on the pictures posted on B&H. Perhaps they did away with mat-finished grain body. The contrast of my pictures even just taken in jpeg have good contrast especially in the shadow. Your pictures have just confirmed my findings.
