Default Historic Motor Racing

Here are some shots from Sundays racing from Historic Sandown.
These shots are of Formula 5000, Group A & C Touring Cars and Production Sports Cars.

Please let me know if I am posting too many pics in my motorsport posts and I will cut back or post in separate threads.

I'd like to see more if it was possible to post more than 12. Keeping posting away as far as I am concerned. Neat stuff.

......me too Tom, always enjoy your motor sports posts.

BTW, did you get to PI for motoGP and if you did any photos? Would very much like seeing some VR46; I think 'too bad' for Valentino this year but he did excite the drama himself which brought on the consequences.

No unfortunately I didn't go Bob, my wife went away for the weekend for a netball tournament and I had other commitments with my kids.
Definitely going to PI for the World Super Bikes next February, It's such a great track to photograph motorsport.
Would be nice if the Panasonic 100-400 or Olympus 300mm (300mm with 1.4x TC) were released by then but both are due Spring. Nice to have a lens with a bit more reach for bike front on shots.

What a great set Tom,

The classic collection of cars is amazing, I love the Mustang and the Porsche.

Somebody knows the model of the yellow Ford?

Thank you for posting.

Really enjoy your car shots so please, keep 'em coming. Love the F5000s most of all, they look like they date back from when my brother used to race.
I'll hazard a guess on the yellow Ford, a downunder Feista maybe...
