Default Backpacking in Big Bend National Park

Went hiking and camping at one of the US's least visited parks in Texas this past week. These are some of my favorite pics from the Chisos Mountains

What a nice set, those are all good. Like them all, with perhaps number 4 as my favorite.

What a beautiful set..!! I really like 2-4 and 5

I noticed a spot that is in every shot you posted, check your sensor or the back of your lens, it is in the lower right side of the frame.

Woah....beautiful. It's a "long way" down there, but that's just an excuse on my part. I just need to do it. Numbers 1 and 4 really do it for me.

Thanks everyone. Greg, it is about a 7 hour drive from San Antonion (even though Google says 5 hr 40 min), so I imagine it would be even longer from Dallas. But it was so worth it. I took HWY 90 out, so I got to see the Pecos River as well, which was beautiful down by the border.

Shots 1-3 are easily accessible from the road. 4-5 are part of a 14 mile loop hike I did where I camped out in the middle along the rim.

This is where I camped:

Here are a couple more from other parts of the park down by the Rio Grande. They are probably way over saturated and gradient-worked, but I came at the wrong time and the lighting was the opposite of what I needed.

Thanks Marcelo. I see it now in the mountain/clouds photo. I'll check into it!
