Default I did it!! Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm f/1.4 ASPH Micro 4/3 Lens

My first lens for the OM-D M5 is on the way. Thought 310.00 was a great buy on this excellent condition lens complete with hood, caps and pouch. Now it's mine mine mine.

That's an awesome deal from what I hear about that lens. There are other more inexpensive options, but that's a helluva value.

I thought so too. B&H is asking 597.99 for it new so I'm basically getting it for nearly half price.

If I recall that's about what I paid for my 20mm. It's nice and all but I doubt anyone would trade me straight up for the 25/1.4

I was ready to pull the trigger on the Oly 25mm from B&H and then I saw that with a Buy it Now option so I jumped right on it. This will likely be my walk around lens as its suited very well for most of the shots I take.

MY BUBBLE HAS BURST. I am now very depressed and frustrated. In my haste and excitement to buy the lens,I failed to notice that the lens is for a four thirds mount and not a M43. Unfortunately the seller shipped the lens before I realized this so I'm stuck with it being I am at fault. No sense buying the adapter for this lens as I know my MMF3 would not work with it and the fact the M5 does not focus 4/3 lenses very fast at all. Usually two seconds to focus. All I can hope for is that I can sell this and at least recover my money. I think what happened is I was searching eBay for Panasonic 25mm M43 and this was one of featured items so I assumed it was for M43. Oh well, another expensive lesson learned.

My bubble has lots of air now. The seller just informed me that he should have shown on the listing that the lens is for M43 which it is. Oh thank God.

Thanks TG and I am looking forward to receiving it. From what I read this is a very sharp and fast lens.
