Default Tall Ships Coming

The Tall Ships are again coming to my home town port of Bay City, MI. I'm looking very forward to this photo event.

That sounds cool. I was reading the link that you provided, and it should be a very photogenic and colorful event. Have fun and take lots of pictures.

I took some photos the last time they were here. That was in 2010 and I used my old Canon 20D with the Canon nifty 250mm. This photo was shot at 1/160, f9.0, ISO 200. Not too bad for a cheap lens.

Erie Pennsylvania has a "festival" like this every year. It's a madhouse though.

It's busy here too but I go down near the mouth of the river and get them as they come in. I usually go to the dock the next day after most of the people have left.
