Default 40-150 PRO & EM-1 files to B&W

....I m still liking some of the B&W conversions from files made by the EM-1 and 40-150 PRO lens; enough to put off a PEN 'F' for a while.

Aw yeah, Mexican Plum, this year it is as good as I've seen for several years but
Red Bud that I've seen is not so good yet, same with the Bradford Pear.

Some really nice shots there, Bob. I think the last shot with the bees is my favorite.

Nice series Bob, like the bees and the second last best of all, like the shallow DOF. What software are you using for your B&W conversion?

Tom, I use COREL Aftershot PRO for which there are some 'plug-in' code for grain effect etc., but MOSTLY I simply de-saturate @ 100% after doing any PP maintenance, i.e sharpening &/or adjusting exposure.

ASPro does have included a B&W plugin but I seldom use it, choosing instead to adjust vibrance and 0% saturation.

....thanks Marcelo, gotta love the 40-150 PRO lens.

Tues Mar 01 I will be shooting the butterfly exhibit from the Maya region of Mexico; it will be in the Fort Worth, TX Botanic Garden conservatory. Hoping the attendance crown isn't too large, lots-o'fun.

I will concentrate EM-1 usage to the 40-150 with extension tubes, some with the 35mm MACRO.
