Amazing set Tom, love the blur background and sharp subjects.

Are you panning hand held or using tripod?

Thank you for posting.

Thanks Marcelo, used a monopod at first then went hand held as it felt more comfortable when panning because of the speed of the bikes. Especially when I was shooting the bikes into the first conner as the bikes were at there fastest speed down the main straight into this corner. There's only a couple here with the monopod.

Fabulous set Tom, Phillip Island is one of the best tracks and always produces great racing.

Thanks for looking and for the kind words John, that it is a great track and excellent place to shoot motorsport with low waist high fences and access to the whole outside of the track. I'm back there in two weeks for the Phillip Island Classic (Historic Motorsport) which is always on the weekend before the Australian Formula One Grand Prix. This is my favorite time of the year for shooting motorsport with three great events within a month and also have an airshow on the same weekend as the Island Classic this year.
