Default [email protected] the Friday night car show

The past weekend at the Concours d'Elegance of Texas show got me in a mood for going to the local Friday night show. It has been several months since I've seen the cars there; I will be going more often this year.

The e-M1 + 12-40 f/2.8 got the job done.

This '33 Ford panel belongs to one of my neighbors, 4 houses away. I will do a session shoot for him soon.

Beautiful cars, but that Hornet really got my attention. I've got to get over there one of those Friday nights.

Nice selection of cars, that Hornet is interesting but that MG is gorgeous.

Great series of images, Bob.

As much as I'd like to have Greg's 12-100 f4 lens, the 12-40 f2.8 is knockout.

.....thanks everyone for commenting. Yep, I saw Greg's setup with the 12-100 f/4 last weekend at the Concours and even snapped a few frames; super nice feel and results... but for now the 12-40 is 'my' go to.

The MG seen is a very nice car .. we have 3 1952 MG in Arlington so we see them quite often. Here is another look.

The 1952 Hudson is a beast in size; it has quite good sheet metal and paint too. A young man in his 20s owns and is finishing the car; great to see young people involved. Here is a photo of the Hornet interior.
