I took this picture through the window at work today with a C4000z.

Can anyone tell me what kind of hawk it is. No one at work could identify it.

I'm guessing it is a Redtail Hawk, but I can't be sure.

Good picture, and a good question. I think that a rough legged hawk has a darker belly. It looks somewhat like a red-shouldered hawk, but not exactly. Somebody out there should be able to identify it.

Immature red-tailed I believe. Adapt very well to city life.
