i have had 1 for a few days now. i had to learn it so a could teach my wife and daughter who do not like manuals. this camara has a lot going for it. it complements my others. i just ordered the UW housing for it to replace, with great regret, my nikonos V. i'm pretty impressed so far.

the only real downside i have found so far is it is noisy when starting up and zooming. the "lens cover on" warning is great. if your looking for total bang for the buck its a matter of wants. i want wide angle thus i have a D7Hi. this is without addons. very few cameras go below 35mm equivelent.

Get yourself a table tripod, bring the supplied wireless remote with you, you can take almost any kind of picture you want with this little burger, including the most difficult situations. Cheers
