The mode dial on my C-2100 appears to be locked in Display mode. Rotating the dial has no effect. The control panel is blank. I am able only to displaytheimages stored on a cardand touse menus.

Can anyone help please?

Guess you dont have much to lose. So while holding the camera
upsidedown, spray the switch out with DEOXIT.

Thank you for the replies - much appreciated. I contacted Olympus UK (who quoted a little over £100 for repair). It's a great camera and in excellent condition so I suspect I'll be gettingout the bubble wrap and packaging up my camera shortly. I hadn't heard of Deoxit (contact cleaner) before ... and having checked it out reckonit may fix a problem with another device I have.Having thought furtherabout the camera (the last successful operationwas to transfer images to a PC) I'm leaning towards circuitry.
