Default New C-750 Owner :)

Hey people.

Just bought myself a C-750, had a bit of a play around with it and it seem the quality of the photos in 'auto' mode isnt very good at all. What's the best setting to use to get decent quality photos ?

Thanks for the help

Auto is just that, the camera tries to automatically guess what you want. Many prefer using Program mode better (does everything but select ISO).

Of course the more you learn about photography the better pictures you'll take. Suggest you start at http://www.photocourse.com where there's a free online "book" on the basics and what the controls mean. The other thing is lots of practice.

One of my first problems with the digital camera was the auto mode. Press the shutter button halfway and wait for the green light in the view finder to be displayed. Then press the shutter the rest of the way. This allows the auto moae to sync all the settings. Mike has pointed you to a good starting point.
