Default Fireworks and Olympus c-750

Will try the new camera on fireworks this weekend. How do you achieve good digital stills of fireworks?

THANKS!

Loooooong shutterspeed will give you lots of fireworks. while a short shutterspeed will only draw a little on the dark shot.

Put you digicam on a tripod and point it a the place, where you think most rockets and so will explooooode.

good luck.

(The best shots is, if you are able to get something more than only the fireworks on the shot, i.e some people silouettes in the bottom of the frame or so.) many shots of only the fireworks alone will be boring in the end.

I agree with Posting Freak's advice. I shot firworks on the 4th with my C-730 using 6 second exposure at mid range F stop, came out very well. Tripod is a must.....

A little tip, "Posting Freak" isn't a person's name, it's a person's rank depending on the number of posts, just like your name isn't "Member."
