Hi,
I am looking for a 3.x MP digital camera and have read somewhere that the Olympus 3020 camera yields good quality pictures but when they are printed via a PC printer the quality is not very good. Has anyone in this forum experienced this type of problem? Thanks in Advance Butch ![]() |

Ensure you are using the camera set to SHQ - 3mp for A4 size prints. I find even 2mp a little too pixelly for A4 size. 2mp or above is fine for 4x6ish prints.
Ensure you are using good photo glossy paper - normal paper is useless unfortunately. Some printers have it and some don't - what printer are you using? I have found from experience some HPs are not very good with photos - I think epson are the best others think Canon 900s either way you must have a good photo printer. It must be set correctly too. Select maximum dots per inch. The default usually around 300 isn't enough. With epson I use 1440. There are lots of settings to experiment with - suck it and see. Steve |
