Default Telephoto Lens Adapter c750 and remote question

Hi,

Can someone please clear something up for me? With the telephoto lens adapter on , I understand the telephoto jumps to 600+mm from 380mm. Can you zoom within those ranges? Like zoom back to 480 or 520 or anything in between, or is the adapter only to "jump" from 380 to 600+ only?

Also can anyone else confirm that the remote control for this camera has a 2 second delay when you press the shutter release? Say it ain't so. May as well use the timer.........

Thanks in advance!

With a teleconverter on the camera, you should be able to zoom-out to a point...depending on the particular teleconverter you may get vignetting with the camera's lens at wider angles.

As for the remote, yes it is a two second delay from the time you press the remote to the time the camera takes the picture...this delay is built in so that you have enough time to hide the remote and compose yourself (the assumption is taking a self-portrait).

As for the timer comment, two seconds is better than 10 seconds!

Hi, thank you for the reply!

Is there more than one tele converter for this camera besides the Olympus one? Also, on the Olympus website it mentions the remote is included in box, but none of the vendors online has listed it as included. Which is it?

Thanks again.

Depends in what part of the world you get it...in some Euro countries don't include the remote.
