Do you mean usable by other family members, or to take pictures of family?

I have had this camera for about a year and have used it two or three times a week. I also have taken over 5000 photos with it and just love it. Easy to use, yet it has advanced features if needed. I really have enjoyed this camera.

Thusfar I'm very satisfied with the imagequality and the load of features find on this camera. The well balanced and capable flash surprised me in a positive way.

My straight out of the camera samples (exept for the rotations) can be find at http://ferry8317.fotopic.net/show_co...n.php?id=35122

It's a mix of HQ and SHQ jpeg's in the camera's highest resolution setting. The HQ jpeg's generate a filesize of about 700 kb, the SHG setting generates about 1700 kb for each image taken.

Ready for this?

Here are mine. Unfortunately, because I have access to a photo editor program such as Photoshop, I no longer present my work un-edited. I use the camera as a serious amateur, currently volunteering as a principal photographer for MontrealRacing.com...which means mainly covering events, model photoshoots, & car photoshoots. Don't let that fool you though, because I photograph in a wide variety of styles (ie. macro, wide angle, full tele, b&w, etc).

Here are my latest:

My opinions about the camera since I bought it? Hard to say. I mostly compare my work with that of a digital SLR. I have seen better image quality from a Canon Powershot G2 and a Nikon Coolpix 4500 which is its direct competition. For the line of work that I am involved in, I feel that I have outgrown this camera, and need to move on to something more serious.

Regards,

Oz

Well I have had the C-4000Z for over a year now and have been happy with the camera. If you want to see what kind of pictures it takes, I have photo galleries up at http://imageevent.com/tsx_wiz/
